Antique Architecture

The original architecture was designed by Chiaki Arai in 1990. It is a masterpiece that has been selected as one of the "JIA 25 Years of Architecture" to be handed down to the next generation. The original building, with its exquisite and extravagant details that are difficult to create today, has been renewed by Akinori Hamada, a leading architect of the next generation, and Shun Kawakami, a creative director active worldwide. It has been reborn as ”TIMELESS COURT IZU” based on the concept of timeless value. The building stands on a vast site, surrounded by trees and a pool.

He designs architecture and digital art using computational design methods, aiming to build a society where people and nature can coexist sustainably. He has received numerous national and international awards, including the Good Design Award 2019 and Iconic Award 2019.
